This year's festival date was held on September 9, 2012 (9/09!!!!!) at PITZER COLLEGE in Claremont.
SUBMISSION RULES: Films/videos must be 9 minutes and 9 seconds or less (9:09, NO EXCEPTIONS!). Categories include: Narrative, Animation, Music Video, Documentary and Experimental.
Submissions must have a 909 theme or must be created or shot in the 909, or they will NOT be eligible for the festival.
There is a $9.09 submission fee, which does not guarantee acceptance into the festival program. All submitted entries will be reviewed by the program committee and accepted based on the content and quality of the work, which means we want good stuff!
All the filmmakers who do pay the submission fee are guaranteed a 909 t-shirt, which is totally cool and worth more than $9.09!
Prizes will also be awarded to winners of each category. Acceptable formats are MiniDV and DVD (standard or hi-def), but please email us if you have another format you would like to submit.
